[MPlayer-users] problem compiling the latest Live.com libraries (live.2004.12.07.tar.gz) with MPlayer - CVS and v1.0pre5

thanks for the reply - i appreciate it.

anyway, i just realized what had happened. My mistake was in thinking
that bash would automatically do the 'tilde expansion' in the
'configure' string - even when the 'tilde' is not at the beginning of
a parameter (i had previously 'configured' with
'--with-livelibdir=~/path-to-live'. Apparently this doesnt work - and
bash isnt smart enough to do that). So i ended up typing the full and
proper path for the configure option, and that worked for me. Yes,
even for the 'latest' live.com libraries.
