You are using "-vo cvidix", but it obviously doesn't work for your card.
 Just leaving that out would probably work.  I'm sure using "-vo xv"
would work.

I also find it strange that you are specifying format, and video codec
to use.  That's really only necessary if mplayer is not automatically
selecting a working codec/output format.
