[MPlayer-users] hauppauge wintv usb, usbvision -> mcapture failed

hi list,
i am experiencing problems with the hauppauge wintv usb card on my
notebook; using the usbvision driver, v4l etc. in the 2.6.8 kernel.
the relevant error message from "mplayer" is:
ioctl mcapture failed: Invalid argument
and
VIDIOCMCAPTURE format 15 not supported
in the syslog (see details below). watching with "xawtv" works,
though.
