[MPlayer-users] recent mplayers stopped working w/ fbdev:vidix and cyberblade driver

I have a little netboot via epia machine that runs mplayer on the
framebuffer. It's worked for many months, but for a long time now I
haven't been able to get new versions of mplayer to work. I always go
back to packages of a 2003-11-22 cvs snapshot and use fbdev:vidix.

With newer mplayers, nothing works. I've tried:

-vo fbdev:vidix
-vo fbdev2	
-vo vesa:vidix
-vo cvidix
-vo directfb:vidix

none works.

Is anyone else using the cyberdev driver without X? Does it work in
current mplayers? What am I doing wrong?
