[MPlayer-users] problems with mpeg2video and -of mpeg

Hi,

I've got 2 questions (1.0pre3):

1. Why do I get the message "Unknown block type, possibly non-MPEG
   stream!" with vcodec=mpeg2video -of mpeg each time there is a
   duplicate frame?

2. How can I set the bitrate of an m2v file (file created with -dumpvideo
   when vcodec=mpeg2video -of mpeg is used). mpeg2video apparently leaves
   it to 0 kbps (using vbitrate does not help). Does such an mpeg2 file
   have a header where the bitrate is defined and if yes, where can I find
   its description (C struct)? Is there an easier way to set the bitrate?
