[MPlayer-users] MPlayer-1.0pre3 crashes when trying .wmv files

Hey,

I really hope someone can help me!

I just saw that another person had the same problem as I have. He was told to use:

echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/exec-shield

I tried this, but I still get the same errors! I tried playing a WMV1 file (with both 1 and 0 in exec-shield) and that works fine! The files that keeps on crashing MPlayer are WMV3 files. 

Anyone with an idea about what this could be? What's causing the problem and how can I fix it?
