You don't want to use vo_gl as it does not accelerate the yuv2rgb
conversion.  Use xv instead, if available.

Changing your graphics card probably won't help you with that, as your
ati should have xv support and the ATI hardware overlay is better then
the nvidia one (Better scaling algorithm).

You may want to try xvidix, which should be even faster then xv.
