[MPlayer-users] Howto play SVCD on Mac OS X

Simple question, how can I play an SVCD on mac os x using mplayer. I 
know mplayer's VCD format/device whatever is not supported on Mac OS X 
because that's what configure says when configuring. But are not SVCDs 
and mpeg2 file, and should I not be able to play the AVSEQ01.MPG mpeg2 
file directly from the cdrom using mplayer.
