[MPlayer-users] using mp3 file for avi audio

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to use an mp3
file as the audio track for an avi file using
mencoder.  Basically, I want to use a CD as the audio
track and video from a .vob file or from a DVD.

I read at www.bunkus.org that it is possible to play
an alternate audio mp3 file using:

mplayer -audiofile myaudio.mp3 myvideo.avi

but I would like myaudio to be the actual audio track
on the avi file.
