[MPlayer-users] re MPlayer crashes with WMV files

Have you tried using another video codec, like ffwmv1 or ffwmv2 ?  I've
yet to figure out exactly why mplayer or gmplayer refuses to play wmv
files at times. Some times it will play them and other times it seg
faults. It seems to be more consistent at playing them if I am logged in
with su. Have you tried playing them while logged in with su to see what
happens?
