Hi,

Well i don't understand anything about all this video driver stuff, 
unfortunately i have a problem with that.

I installed SuSE 9.0 recently. Then i installed mplayer with rpm's that i 
dwlded from http://packman.links2linux.org; which is a good site for SuSE 
users. But I couldn't get any vo option to work. Neither on vcd's; nor on 
dvd's..

I was using mplayer perfectly with SuSE 8.2.

It says current vo is "incompatible with the codec". And also, it "can't find 
matshing colorspace". All i receive is a black screen; and in some cases, 
blue.

My Asus L35H laptop has a Sis650 graphics chipset. I don't know which drivers 
are available. I don't even know where to learn. Pre-installed kaffeine(xine) 
plays vcd's, with xshm option.

Thanks anyone who may help. I also would like to find a beginner howto on 
graphics drivers thing.
