[MPlayer-users] MPlayer and ASF Audio Streams

Until November 2003 MPlayer was properly parsing the header of
the ASF audio stream from www.warpradio.com for the radio
station KHYI (www.warpradio.com/popTuner.asp?id=9455). Then
suddenly MPlayer stopped working. I investigated as best I
could by running MPlayer from an exterm which produced the
following output:

I am able to listen to this audio stream using Microsoft
MediaPlayer on Microsoft Windows XP so I know the radio
station is still broadcasting.

I suspect Microsoft Corporation has modified the header with
the release of Microsoft MediaPlayer 9.0 and the server-side
encoding is the source of the problem with MPlayer.
