[MPlayer-users] mencoder cropping does not work?

the main problem is i want to create a dvd-video with 3 svcd as source and the
nero vision express program.

this works. the black bars are cut off now.

the original format is 480x480 and has ridiculously big black bars. therefore
i get a dvd-video that wastes much space on the tv-screen not only above and
below the movie but also left and right because of the black bars. i hope
cutting off the bars will fix this.
