well, i actually got to that address, but mplayer refused to fetch it.
so i sent the email here.
after some time i found out that i compiled mplayer without live.com support,
so i added it.
but it still doesn't work.
live com has some test apps for rtsp support,
one of them is openRTSP, which should be able to open and/or save an rtsp stream.
but it can't.
it tells me:
Opened URL "rtsp://a1757.v11408.c1140.g.vq.akamaistream.net/5/

ef356cb3da2d13b9c0a39a61d90f6265a/mwsf_keynote_250.mov", returning a SDP description:

This session has no media subsessions (i.e., "m=" lines)
so do you know about any other programs to fetch rtsp files?
thx,
gabor

That's life for you, said McDunn. Someone always waiting for someone
who never comes home. Always someone loving something more than that
thing loves them. And after awhile you want to destroy whatever
that thing is, so it can't hurt you no more.
