I had this patch working with pre2, then with pre3 I saw that it
didn't apply anymore, but alsa worked again, so I thought it had
already been applied (but not as alsa1x, but alsa09), and didn't
investigate further.
Is there a reason why your patch hasn't been applied yet? It did work
quite well with pre2.
