Hi everybody,
I'm currently using one of the latest cvs of mplayer/mencoder on an
athlon equipped with a radeon 7000 and redhat 9 linux.
Some time ago I had tried, on another pc, to use -vo xvidix as video
output driver. As far as I can remember it worked really well.
Now I cannot use it anymore, if I try to use it as root the mplayer answers:

Can someone tell me please where is the problem?
I know that I have the direct rendering activated, is it a problem?
There is another video driver which is fast as xvidx or even faster?

Thank in advance.

Best Regards,
vanleer.
