[MPlayer-users] Newbie to mplayer

Hi,
 I have downloaded and installed mplayer.
 I am trying to play a video, but I got the following error message.

VO: [dxr3] Error opening /dev/em8300-0 for writing, trying /dev/em8300 instead.
VO: [dxr3] Error opening /dev/em8300 for writing as well!
Bailing.
Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device.

 There is no /dev/em8300-0 or /dev/em8300 in my /dev directory.
 I wonder if there is someone who can help me to get fix this thing.
