[MPlayer-users] mplayer and alsa-devices

Hi all!
  I've got a small problem I couldn't resolve so far.
   I've alsa0.9.5 installed and want mplayer to use a different device than
"default". Can I solve this by making a good entry in some config-file so
mplayer uses some other pcm-device, like a dmix-plugin, or file...?
  Any help is greatly appreciated!
