I think Xvidix works really well on Rage Mobility cards.  At least, it 
does on all the ones I've played with, which are mostly the older, 
mach64-ish ones.  And that will work whether or not you have XV support. 

xvidix randomly freaks out on some videos, though.  And then I'm stuck 
with x11 and software scaling.
