hi,
This is related, if not exactly... (it's only a partial hijack!).
I tried to get this going on 1.0pre4 (gentoo ebuild), and found that I
just got about 200 instances of mplayer that completely bogged down the
system. Using mozilla 1.6, various mplayerplug-in's (0.91-2.6), and the
said mplayers. I then upgraded to the latest ebuild, 1.0pre4r4, and no
longer got these multiple instances, but no matter what I try I can't
get video.

So I get the sound but no video. It appears to work just dandy using
winsucks. I have the win32 codecs installed, and pretty much everything
else I could think of.
Any ideas?
Cheers
