[MPlayer-users] problems loading the framebuffer for a matrox g450mms

hi,

so i got a brandnew matrox g450mms, wow (4 heads), wow!

i set up a new system, compiled mplayer, successfull with mga support and
now when i try to load the framebuffer (starting with  i2c-matroxfb and then
trying matroxfb_g450) my screen simply blanks :(  i also tried different
other combinations but without success.

is it a question of the correct loading-order?
is there maybe more to it than to regular g450s, since it is a quad-card?

can anybody help me out here?
