Hi
I just installed kernel 2.6.3 on my Fedora Core 1 machine. Pretty much everything went fine except...
mplayer doesn't work anymore!
I get:
# mplayer
segmentation fault
#
same for gmplayer
I tried recompiling mplayer, without luck. It's mplayer-1.0pre3.
It's configured with:
./configure --enable-gui --enable-debug=3 --disable-rue-cpudetection --with-xanimlibdir=/usr/local/lib/codecs --with-reallibdir=/usr/local/lib/codecs --enable-liblzo --enable-vidix --disable-cdparanoia --disable-lirc
gdb gives:
# gdb mplayer
GNU gdb Red Hat Linux (5.3.90-0.20030710.41rh)

What do I need to get mplayer to work together with kernel-2.6.X?
With regards
Anders
