Hi,

I'm trying to use MPlayer 1.0pre3-3.3.3 with Esound 0.2.29-1 (debian unstable). When playing MP3 I just get noise (which works ok with XMMS). I think it's the playback rate, but I've tryed many combinations and had no success. My sound car is an Intel Corp. 82801EB AC'97 Audio Controller.

Should MPlayer work out of the box with Esound?
