I have only 128 MB, with the Celeron 400, I still have about 20% idle (says
top). With the PIII even more than 50% idle! It's an embedded system with
VIA chipset. Video adapter is a S3 SavagaPro included in this VIA-Twister
chip. Also I tried different -vo settings (x11, xv, vesa, ...), doesn't
help.
Sometimes (about 1 out of 50) it works. When pressing spacebar while it
once works to pause the playback, and then start the playback again, it
doesn't play fluidly anymore.
Maybe it's some kind of powermanagement, cpu idle calls, or whatever?
