Hi,
I have GTV playing video files, but quite slowly.
Machine is: Panasonic CF-41, 120MHz, 24MB RAM.
Video card is: CT65548, 1024KB RAM.
My problem is probably well known on this list:
1. xv:
"It seems there is no Xvideo support for your video card available."
2. x11:
i have seen is a mplayer screen for 1 second, followed
by a segmentation fault.
3. mpegpes (apparently output to nowhere):
"
Starting playback...
V: ...
Exiting... (End of file)
"
I'm currently using KDE, and plan on getting a light WM within a week.
That could speed up GTV, but i think i need a couple of hints before i
get any play-back for mplayer. It appears to me playing around with
openGL output might be worthwhile, but in general i'm in the dark. I
just know that there are some lucky cards that just play right away, and
there are others that are hard to get going. I'm definitely in the
latter camp.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Reshat.
