[MPlayer-users] Mplayer setup advice needed ...

Hi, when trying to play video ('mplayer news.ram')
or audio ('mplayer newsradio.ram') - I get the output below.
I'd appreciate help in getting it working.
As I understand it, the main problems are
(1)
> Can't open '/root/.mplayer/codecs.conf': No such file or directory
(2)
> font: can't open file: /root/.mplayer/font/font.desc
> font: can't open file: /usr/share/mplayer/font/font.desc
and
(3)
> Can't open input config file /root/.mplayer/input.conf: No such file
> or directory
How do I fix these ?
