I have a streaming site mplayer can't seem to digest. The most flagrant
is http://www.npr.org. I am hoping someone can help me figure out what
I might be doing wrong.
Here is what I have:
SuSE 9.0
MPlayer 1.0Pre3-3.3.1
If I go to this URL, http://www.npr.org/programs/morning and select a
link to "Listen to *day's Show", the link kicks a javascript that
generates a file that is passed to mplayer. Mplayer chokes. I saved
the .wax file and have a bit of it here:
<asx version = "3.0">

Going to the command line, I try:

Now, I get some audio, but it's a fraction of a second every few
minutes. It's not a bandwidth issue, as winblows media player plays
fine.
I've looked through DOCS but couldn't find any pointers.
I've scoured the internet but couldn't find any pointers.
Are there any pointers here?
Thanks in advance.
