The URL is <rtsp://rx-lvl3-tex21.rbn.com/farm/*/airam/airam/live/live.rm>

It is an audio-only stream using the Sipro codec. I have tried both rp8 and
rp9 versions of sipr.so.6.0.

It sounds like the audio stream has been broken up into little pieces and
scrambled. Like when you turn a radio dial slowly and you can hear a little
bit of each station as you pass it.

system: Debian 3.0
kernel: Linux 2.4.23
libc: glibc-2.2.5
gcc: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
ld: GNU ld version 2.12.90.0.1 20020307 Debian/GNU Linux
as: GNU assembler 2.12.90.0.1 20020307 Debian/GNU Linux

using OSS sound driver "opl3sa2", the sound card is detected as:
opl3sa2: Deactivated ISA PnP card 0 (active=0)
opl3sa2: Activated ISA PnP card 0 (active=1)
opl3sa2: chipset version = 0x4
opl3sa2: Found OPL3-SA3 (YMF715E or YMF719E)
opl3sa2: 1 PnP card(s) found.
