Thanks for looking.
vo: X11 running at 640x480 with depth 24 and 32 bpp (":0" => local display)
Just to be sure:
$ xrandr
SZ: Pixels Physical Refresh
*0 640 x 480 ( 217mm x 163mm ) *60
X dumps this when I start mplayer:
GetModeLine - scrn: 0 clock: 25200
GetModeLine - hdsp: 640 hbeg: 656 hend: 752 httl: 800
vdsp: 480 vbeg: 490 vend: 492 vttl: 525 flags: 10
So mplayer is trying to do 16x9, but i guess it is centering it and the edges
are off the screen?
