[MPlayer-users] Wrong samplerate in streaming audio

Hello,

In MPlayer rc5 (but not in pre3 or earlier), there is an intermittent 
problem where the sample rate (not bitrate) of an mp3 stream is 
misidentified.  This is frequently reproducible.  I have also tried 
dumping the stream and playing the dump, but the problem never seems to 
occur when doing this, even if the dumped stream starts at the same point 
at which the normal playback had problems.

The behavior does not seem to depend on the audio codec chosen.
