[MPlayer-users] why doesn't mplayer build see libavformat?

It's not THIS avcodec/avformat. MPlayer has it's own copy in local tree
main/libavcodec. If you use a source release package then it is
included, if you use CVS you have to include it yourself. But in both
cases you have to include libavformat yourself. And COPY the dir to
MPlayer's root dir, not symlink it.

You're talking about ./configure? Yes, it does. Only it's named configure.log
