[MPlayer-users] Crash while playing todays' snow

This is less likely to be a bug in MPlayer than in the current snow
codec, but since the author of that codec reads this mailing list, it
ought to cover all the bases. (Then again, ffplay doesn't have the same
problem, so...)

Yesterday, with FFmpeg and MPlayer CVS from no later than the previous
day, I was testing out the snow codec and receiving fairly good results.
Today, there having been an update to the codec which would reportedly
speed things up quite a bit, I went to try it out again; the encoding
went fine, but MPlayer now crashes trying to play the file.

The gdb log is attached, along with my system information.

There is a faint chance that this is caused by my using a different
compiler version; I've recently switched symlinks from GCC 3.2 to GCC
3.3. I think, however, that the switch came before I compiled the
versions I was using yesterday, so that seems a litle unlikely.
