[MPlayer-users] Building debian package / playing realplayer files

Hi.

I first tryed to build the debian package useing:
fakeroot debian/rules binary
And then installed the package.
But then i'm not able to plat real player files. (It can't find the codec)

I then tryid to build it useing ./configure && make
and then make install as root.
Now i don't have any problem what so ever with playing real player files.

is there a problem with debian/rules ?
