[MPlayer-users] Removing Deb* Mplayer (before recompile)

Hi, I installed mplayer the Debian (unstable) way from 
http://hpisi.nerim.net
but now wish to compile from source. The problem is how to remove the old
before installing the new. I can't find the names of the packages on the 
debian
or Marillat sites and its so long ago ago I can't remember them.

... is strange as I often use it.

Any ideas ?
