Besides the wrong -cdrom-device, you also shouldn't play vcd track 1, it 
is just a small iso9660 track that makes it possible to mount the vcd 
(click on it in explorer, in your case).
The first MPEG-sequence on the vcd is track 2 (vcd://2). Mplayer plays the 
movie even if you play track 1, but strange things happen. For example 
the progress bar doesn't work correctly and sometimes playback stops in 
the middle as if the title was at its end.
