There is no "make install" for live.com libs.  Here's a quote from the site:  

    http://live.com/liveMedia/

    "There's no official 'install' procedure; you can put the "live/" 
    directory wherever you wish - but you must leave it intact. 
    You may wish to do the following:

        rm -rf /usr/lib/live ; cp -r live /usr/lib"
