[MPlayer-users] Finding the frame rate of an MPEG file without actually playing it in the local machine.

hi,
   I am trying find out the frame rate of an MPEG file
without actually playing the file in the local machine
using mplayer for automating the process. I tried to
find an option for mplayer for doing so and have not
been successful. Is there any option for doing the
above process.
