Even the wav file has a blip at the start. But the same file/s don't
generate a blip in xmms. I also noticed a very strange behaviour: On
some occasions (around 1 in 5 attempts) the problem causing file
wasn't giving out blips (in mplayer itself)!!!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
