[MPlayer-users] mplayer and codecs

hello every body

  i have complied and installed the MPlayer
1.0pre7-3.2.3 
i want to know what codecs it mplayer requires
  though i have download the codecs for mplayer site

  

1. have to port that on 32MB FLASH ROM so that i can 
    put the exact codecs so that size will reduce
2. one more problem on via chipset when play a video
song
    video will be runing but i cannot here the sound ,
but if minumize it i can here the audio , once if i
maximize it video will be running no audio 
it problem with codec
