[MPlayer-users] mouse click pauses mplayer

hi!

i've searched everywhere but nobody seems to have a problem like this:

when i use the left mousebutton while mplayer is running the video gets paused. 
when i use it again the video will continue. this can get very annoying when you 
just want something to run in the background.

this only happens when i click outside the mplayer window or on its 
windowsframe. when i click on the videopane itself i get this error on stdout:
No bind found for key JOY_BTN0-MOUSE_BTN0

i tried to remove all input.confs, but the problem was still there. any ideas?

it's mplayer 1.0pre6-3.3.5 on ubuntu 5.04
