No, but your faac installation is broken. You removed a lib it depends
on.
Either reinstall libmp4v2.so.0 or remove libfaac and recompile.

make distclean is what you want then. Current behaviour is useful when
making changes since you don't have to compile everything (though it has
some disadvantages as well *g*)
