Well, I really do not think this the way to specify the LDFLAGS options.
Here is how I do specify these additional library paths:

LDFLAGS='-L/opt/sfw/lib -R/opt/sfw/lib -L/opt/asf/lib -R/opt/asf/lib'

Notice the use of the single quotes.
