Hi,
Is it possible to make mencoder process multiple audio streams (from a
DVB transport stream)?
Channel 4 seem to have 2 audio streams in their TS's - ffmpeg says:
Duration: 00:14:25.2, start: 45079.826522, bitrate: 2823 kb/s
Stream #0.0[0x230]: Video: mpeg2video, yuv420p, 704x576, 25.00 fps, 10000 kb/s
Stream #0.1[0x231](eng): Audio: mp2, 48000 Hz, stereo, 192 kb/s
Stream #0.2[0x232](eng): Audio: mp2, 48000 Hz, mono, 64 kb/s
Stream #0.3[0x233](eng): Subtitle: dvbsub
Anyone know why they broadcast 2 audio streams, one of which seems to
be silent (not confirmed)
Im encoding using mencoder to xvid (for use on a mobile phone)
Other channels work fine, but programs from UK Channel 4 are encoded
to a avi with a silent soundtrack. I assume this is because I am
making mencoder use the 'wrong' audio stream from the broadcast.
Ideally, I would like mencoder to pick the right stream automatically,
but failing that, it would be useful if it could encode both audio
streams (the player betaplayer for WM2003 allows you to pick audio
streams...)
Can anyone help?
thanks
