[MPlayer-users] Fwd: VMware 5 codec

Hi,

can anybody tell me how to integrate the avi codec providet by VMware
in mplayer?
I am running MPlayer-1.0pre6a on SUSE 9.2. 
I have already copied the vmnu.dll to /usr/lib/win32 but still the
recordet video can not be shown with mplayer. 
Searching the net I found a note for GENTO Linux telling to edit the
file codecs.conf, but there is no such file.
