Recently I discovered 1.0pre6 doesn't detect audio in some
of my older videos, it had to be instructed by '-aid n' to
find the right stream. I reported bug to this forum and then
decided to wait and start using 1.0pre5 instead.
Tomorrow I encoded my new DVD using mencoder 1.0pre5, when
I played the result using mplayer 1.0pre5, I got 'no sound'
result again:
$ mplayer arthur.avi
MPlayer 1.0pre5-3.3.5 (C) 2000-2004 MPlayer Team
...
Playing arthur.avi.
AVI file format detected.
