[MPlayer-users] What is the effect of rc buffer underflow during mpeg2 encoding?

Hi,
   I get this kind of message telling me about rc buffer underflowing
during the encoding is going on. I use mpeg2 as my target format. The
files work well and play well on stand-alone DVD players as well.
  I just want to know for knowledge sake only. Does this under flow
have any effect?
