Speaking as an owner of a card with a Riva128 chipset, myself, I can
say-- yes, it *is* unspeakably lame.  But then the Riva128 driver that
comes with XFree86 doesn't have any XVideo support anyway (I don't know
about Xorg), and Nvidia's binary driver doesn't support the Riva128 at
*all*.

If anyone has corrections to the above, please speak up.  If anyone
wants to implement XVideo for the old and crappy Riva128 chipset for
some bizarre reason, please feel free. :)
