[MPlayer-users] Speex support?

Hello,

What I can understand of the presentation at
http://www.mplayerhq.hu/~alex/sucon/mplayer-ch.pdf mplayer should have support
for speex. I'm however unable to get speex working with mplayer. I've installed
the source packages from www.speex.org and then reconfigured and recompiled
mplayer but with no success. If speex support isn't builtin is it possible to
get support for it via windows dlls instead? What parameters should I write in
the codecs.conf in that case?
