First thing I did was to try Google -- before even looking through the 
archives. I saw tivo-mplayer right away but it requires hacking the TiVo box. 
I wouldn't like to mess with that unless it's absolutely necessary. Is there 
a way to play the files downloaded specifically with TiVo Desktop?
