	How did you install it? As part of the OSX 10.4 upgrade/install or
	by using another package from somewhere else? gcc_select probably only
	knows how to deal with compilers installed by the OS install process.

	On my system (10.4.2) I have:

	sms% ls -l /usr/bin/gcc*
	lrwxr-xr-x   1 root  wheel       7 Jun  1 17:46 /usr/bin/gcc -> gcc-4.0
	-r-xr-xr-x   1 root  wheel  135076 Mar 20 12:59 /usr/bin/gcc-3.3
	-rwxr-xr-x   1 root  wheel   39524 Mar 20 12:56 /usr/bin/gcc-4.0
	-r-xr-xr-x   1 root  wheel  135828 May 20 10:44 /usr/bin/gcc3

	I could either use 'gcc_select' or simply go into /usr/bin and change
	the symlink to point to the desired gcc version's executable.
